The Groupers Nest is an advanced dive site in the Attica region that lives up to its name with an impressive concentration of large dusky groupers. This rocky reef features a series of caves, overhangs, and deep crevices where multiple groupers have established territories, creating one of the densest grouper populations in the Athens diving area. Beyond the star attractions, the reef hosts moray eels, scorpionfish, lobsters, and nudibranchs. Sponge gardens and small gorgonian fans decorate the walls. The depth and occasional currents require advanced certification, but the chance to observe these magnificent fish up close in their natural habitat makes every dive here special.
