The Little Island is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Attica region near Athens, centered around a small rocky islet that provides a sheltered diving environment. The underwater terrain features gentle slopes of rock and sand with scattered boulders and seagrass beds. Marine life is pleasantly diverse: wrasse, damselfish, and sea bream are abundant, while octopus, cuttlefish, and nudibranchs provide macro photography subjects. The islet's lee side offers protection from waves and currents, ensuring comfortable conditions for less experienced divers. The clear waters and easy access make it a favourite for local dive schools running introductory courses and refresher dives throughout the summer season.
