Plakias Beach - East End

Plakias Beach East End is a beginner-friendly shore dive on the south coast of Crete near the resort of Plakias. The eastern end of this beautiful sandy beach provides easy entry to a rocky reef environment with small boulders, sandy patches, and seagrass meadows. The warm, clear Mediterranean waters host octopuses, sea bream, damselfish, and various species of wrasse.
