Anthony Quinn Seal Cave is an advanced cave dive near the famous Anthony Quinn Bay on the east coast of Rhodes. This sea cave earned its name from the Mediterranean monk seals (Monachus monachus) that have been documented using the cave system. The dive involves navigating through underwater passages into air-filled chambers where stalactites and smooth limestone formations create an atmospheric environment. The cave walls host lobsters, cave shrimp, and specialised encrusting organisms. Due to the ecological sensitivity of monk seal habitat, diving in this cave requires special permission and responsible behaviour. Proper cave training and equipment are mandatory. A rare and privileged diving experience on Rhodes.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
