Kalithea is a beginner-friendly dive site at the famous Kalithea Springs on the east coast of Rhodes. This historic thermal springs resort, with its stunning Italian-era architecture above water, offers equally beautiful diving below the surface. The rocky seabed features natural pools, arches, and small caves created by the limestone and thermal spring activity. Marine life is abundant in the warm, nutrient-rich waters: colourful wrasse, damselfish, and parrotfish are common, along with octopus and moray eels. The unique combination of thermal springs, clear Dodecanese waters, and the impressive architectural backdrop makes Kalithea one of Rhodes' most photogenic and accessible dive sites.
