Kolymbia is a beginner-friendly dive site on the east coast of Rhodes in the Dodecanese. This popular beach resort area offers easy shore access to a gentle underwater slope with mixed sand, rock, and Posidonia seagrass beds. The calm, clear waters provide excellent visibility and comfortable conditions for new divers. Marine life is diverse: wrasse, damselfish, sea bream, and parrotfish patrol the reef, while octopus and cuttlefish shelter among the boulders. The nearby Tsambika headland adds scenic interest both above and below the waterline. Kolymbia's convenient location and reliable conditions make it a popular choice for resort-based diving and training courses on Rhodes.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
