Lindos is a beginner-friendly dive site beneath the iconic acropolis of Lindos on the southeast coast of Rhodes. Diving beneath the ancient Greek acropolis perched dramatically on the cliff above creates an unparalleled setting. The underwater terrain features a gentle slope of rocks and sand with small walls and overhangs. Marine life includes wrasse, damselfish, octopus, and the occasional sea turtle gliding through the clear Dodecanese waters. Ancient pottery fragments and stone blocks from centuries of maritime activity can sometimes be glimpsed among the natural reef. The combination of easy diving, crystal-clear water, and one of Greece's most iconic ancient monuments overhead makes Lindos a truly special dive experience.
