Going Through is a beginner-friendly dive near Agia Pelagia on the north coast of Crete, featuring an exciting natural swimthrough passage in the rocky reef. The tunnel is wide enough for comfortable single-file passage with light visible at both ends, making it safe for less experienced divers. Swimming through the rock creates a thrilling sense of adventure without technical cave diving risks. Beyond the swimthrough, the reef offers scattered rocks and sandy areas with typical Mediterranean marine life including wrasse, damselfish, octopus, and moray eels. The calm conditions of the sheltered bay and the unique swimthrough feature make this a memorable dive for visitors to the Heraklion area.
