Volcano bubbles

Volcano Bubbles is an advanced dive near Nisyros in the Dodecanese reaching 40 meters, offering one of the most otherworldly diving experiences in Greece. The site features active volcanic gas vents on the seabed that release streams of warm bubbles, creating a surreal underwater landscape. Rising columns of bubbles shimmer in the clear water, surrounded by mineral deposits in vivid yellows and oranges. The warm water around the vents supports unique thermophilic organisms not found elsewhere in the Aegean. Beyond the volcanic features, the surrounding reef hosts typical Dodecanese marine life.
