Lamania is an advanced dive site in the North Aegean known for its deep walls and strong currents that create challenging but rewarding diving conditions. The underwater landscape features dramatic vertical walls plunging from a shallow rocky plateau into deep blue water. The walls are adorned with dense gorgonian forests, red and yellow sponge gardens, and colonies of false black coral at depth. Pelagic action is a highlight, with large schools of amberjack, dentex, and barracuda regularly cruising past. Impressive groupers occupy the wall's ledges and caves, while eagle rays and the occasional Mediterranean sunfish pass through. Reserved for experienced divers comfortable with depth and current management.
