Samos Knife Wound Rock is a beginner-friendly dive site off Samos in the North Aegean, named for a dramatic narrow fissure that splits a large submerged rock formation, resembling a knife slash. This striking geological feature creates an exciting swimthrough even at shallow depth, with walls close enough to touch on either side. Beyond the fissure, the reef slopes gently with scattered boulders and healthy Posidonia beds. Marine life includes wrasse, damselfish, octopus, and moray eels in the rock crevices. The visual drama of the knife-cut rock combined with easy diving conditions makes this a memorable and photogenic site, perfect for divers of all levels looking for something unique.
