Bournias is an intermediate dive site in the Peloponnese region of Greece, offering a scenic underwater landscape of rocky reefs and moderate walls. The site features a series of rock formations that create overhangs, small caves, and channels at comfortable depths for certified divers. Mediterranean groupers are the highlight, with several large specimens regularly seen patrolling their territories. Moray eels, scorpionfish, and octopus populate the crevices, while the open water sections attract schools of sea bream and chromis. The rocky walls are decorated with healthy sponge growth and small gorgonian fans. A reliable site with consistent marine encounters that represents the best of Peloponnese diving.
