Limeni Wreck is an advanced wreck dive in the Mani Peninsula of the Peloponnese, near the picturesque stone village of Limeni on the Messenian Gulf. The wreck lies at depth in the characteristically clear waters of this dramatic coastline, where the Taygetus mountains plunge into the sea. The vessel has become an artificial reef hosting groupers, moray eels, and dense fish life. The rocky seabed surrounding the wreck adds reef diving interest to the exploration. Currents and depth contribute to the advanced rating. Limeni Wreck offers a compelling combination of historical wreck exploration and outstanding Mediterranean underwater scenery in one of the Peloponnese's most beautiful and atmospheric coastal settings.
