Nestos Wreck is an advanced wreck dive in the Peloponnese waters of Greece, the remains of a cargo vessel resting on the Mediterranean seabed. The wreck structure has been colonized by sponges, gorgonians, and encrusting organisms over the years, creating a vibrant artificial reef. Groupers have taken up residence in the hull spaces, while moray eels, octopuses, and scorpionfish shelter in the wreckage. Schools of sea bream and damselfish hover above the superstructure. The depth and potential currents contribute to the advanced rating. Nestos Wreck is a significant addition to the Peloponnese's growing reputation as a diverse diving destination combining wrecks, caves, and reef diving.
