Romvi South is a beginner-friendly dive site on the southern side of Romvi islet in the Messenian Gulf, Peloponnese. This sheltered site offers a gentle sloping reef with rocky boulders, sandy patches, and seagrass beds in calm, clear waters. The marine life is typical of healthy Mediterranean reefs: octopuses, sea bream, ornate wrasse, damselfish, and various nudibranchs. The southern exposure provides some shelter from northern winds, making it a reliable dive when conditions at more exposed sites deteriorate. Romvi South is an accessible complement to the more challenging Romvi Drop Off, allowing divers of different levels to enjoy this picturesque Greek islet.
