Gili Gede Wall is an advanced dive site off the island of Gili Gede in Southwest Lombok, where a dramatic wall drops to 20 meters along the island's western edge. Part of the lesser-known "Secret Gilis" chain, this site offers pristine reef conditions far from the tourist crowds of the northern Gili Islands. The wall is decorated with sea fans, soft corals, and sponges in vivid oranges and purples, while schools of fusiliers and anthias animate the vertical face. Turtles glide along the wall edge, and reef sharks are occasionally spotted patrolling the deeper sections. The wall's sheltered position provides calmer conditions than many Lombok sites, though currents can pick up during tidal changes. Gili Gede Wall is a hidden gem that rewards adventurous divers willing to explore beyond Lombok's mainstream dive destinations.
