Mangrove Point is an advanced dive site between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, located in the channel where strong currents create a dynamic underwater environment. The site gets its name from the mangrove trees lining the nearby shore and features a rocky slope descending to 40 meters with interesting topography of boulders, crevices, and overhangs. The current-swept reef attracts both resident reef species and visiting pelagics: manta rays are sometimes spotted during the right season, while reef sharks, eagle rays, and schools of trevally patrol the deeper zones. The rocky areas host moray eels, octopus, and cleaning stations where shrimp attend to groupers and sweetlips. Thermoclines can bring cold water surges, and the currents require good drift diving skills. Mangrove Point is best dived with an experienced guide who knows how to read the conditions and position divers for the best encounters.
