Toyapakeh is the main dive site on the northwest coast of Nusa Penida, offering accessible yet spectacular diving in one of Bali's most celebrated underwater areas. The site features a vibrant coral slope descending from 5 to 30 meters, covered in healthy hard corals, soft corals, and sea fans that support an incredible density of reef fish. Schools of sweetlips, fusiliers, and batfish patrol the reef, while hawksbill and green turtles are almost guaranteed sightings. The shallower areas are alive with clouds of anthias and damselfish, and macro treasures including nudibranchs and leaf scorpionfish hide among the coral heads. During the right season, oceanic manta rays and mola mola may pass through the deeper blue water. Moderate currents and easy boat access from Nusa Penida make Toyapakeh suitable for intermediate divers and above.
