Molas Shipwreck is an atmospheric wreck dive near Manado in North Sulawesi, featuring the remains of a steel-hulled cargo vessel resting on a sandy slope between 23 and 40 meters depth. The wreck has been colonized by impressive growths of black coral, barrel sponges, and whip corals, creating an artificial reef that attracts batfish, sweetlips, lionfish, and resident moray eels peering from the hull openings. The surrounding volcanic sand harbors excellent muck diving opportunities with ornate ghost pipefish and various nudibranchs often found near the debris field. Visibility can vary but is typically good, and the moderate depth combined with the wreck's open structure makes exploration rewarding for advanced divers seeking a blend of wreck penetration and rich marine biodiversity.
