Muka Kampung is a versatile dive site in Bunaken National Marine Park, North Sulawesi, located along the reef wall in front of a local village on Bunaken Island. The site offers a classic Bunaken wall dive, with the reef dropping from a shallow coral flat at 3 meters to beyond 30 meters, adorned with gorgonian fans, barrel sponges, and vibrant soft corals. The wall's many crevices shelter green and hawksbill turtles resting on ledges, Napoleon wrasse, and large groupers, while schools of fusiliers, batfish, and surgeonfish cruise the wall face. The shallow reef top provides excellent snorkeling with dense hard coral gardens and abundant reef fish. The site combines easy access with excellent marine life, making it a popular choice for divers of all levels visiting Bunaken. Night diving here reveals active hunting lionfish, sleeping turtles, and nocturnal crustaceans emerging from the wall.
