Saonek Monde

Saonek Monde is a relaxed and accessible dive site near Saonek Island in Raja Ampat, featuring a shallow reef platform that showcases the region's incredible coral diversity in an easy-to-dive setting. The reef slopes gently from 3 to about 18 meters, covered in a remarkable variety of hard corals including table corals, brain corals, and branching formations in pristine condition. Clouds of anthias, damselfish, and chromis create a colorful display above the reef, while hawksbill turtles cruise through and wobbegong sharks hide under coral overhangs. The sandy patches host blue-spotted stingrays and garden eels, and the coral heads shelter nudibranchs, porcelain crabs, and shrimp gobies.
