Sorido Wall is a world-class wall dive off Kri Island in the Dampier Strait of Raja Ampat, where a steep reef wall plunges from a shallow coral garden into the deep blue, reaching depths beyond 70 meters. The wall is decorated with enormous gorgonian sea fans—some reaching several meters across—barrel sponges, and dense soft coral growth in spectacular colors. The site's position in the current-swept Dampier Strait brings abundant fish life: schools of fusiliers and surgeonfish form curtains along the wall, while wobbegong sharks rest under overhangs and sea turtles glide past. The shallows above the wall feature pristine hard coral gardens that rank among the healthiest in Raja Ampat. Advanced divers can explore the deeper wall sections for larger gorgonians and black coral, while intermediate divers enjoy excellent diving along the upper wall and reef crest. Sorido Wall exemplifies the extraordinary reef health and biodiversity that defines Raja Ampat diving.
