Ransiwor is a diverse dive site on Mansuar Island in Raja Ampat, offering a rich reef slope that combines excellent coral coverage with interesting topography and abundant marine life. The site descends from a shallow reef at 5 meters to about 40 meters, with coral-covered boulders, overhangs, and sandy patches creating varied habitat. Schools of sweetlips, batfish, and fusiliers animate the reef, while wobbegong sharks rest under table corals and hawksbill turtles cruise the wall. The macro life is well represented with nudibranchs, flatworms, and shrimp gobies found among the coral heads, while the sandy areas host blue-spotted stingrays and garden eels. The currents can range from mild to moderate, making Ransiwor accessible to intermediate and advanced divers. The site provides an excellent representation of Raja Ampat's diverse underwater ecosystems within a single dive, from pristine coral gardens to critter-rich sandy zones.
