Halcyon

Halcyon is an advanced dive site off Kovalam in Kerala, India, where a submerged rocky reef creates a concentrated habitat for marine life in the Arabian Sea. Despite the shallow maximum depth of 12 meters, the site earns its advanced rating through exposure to currents and surge that can develop along this stretch of coast. The reef features impressive rock formations covered with hard corals and sponges, creating overhangs and crevices that shelter moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses.
