Inchkeith Wreck is an advanced dive site in the Andaman Islands, India, centered on the remains of a cargo vessel that sank off the coast of South Andaman Island. The wreck rests at 18 meters on a sandy bottom, its steel structure now heavily colonized by hard and soft corals creating a thriving artificial reef ecosystem. Large groupers have taken up residence inside the hull, while schools of glassfish fill the interior spaces in shimmering clouds. Lionfish patrol the coral-encrusted superstructure, and scorpionfish camouflage on the deck. The surrounding sandy area is home to garden eels, bluespotted stingrays, and hunting mantis shrimp. The wreck's moderate depth is offset by the advanced rating due to occasional strong currents and limited visibility that can affect the site. Inchkeith Wreck offers the Andaman Islands' most accessible wreck diving experience, combining the exploration appeal of a sunken vessel with the rich marine biodiversity of the tropical Indian Ocean.
