White House Rock is an advanced dive site in the Andaman Islands, India, where a massive white limestone rock formation rises from the seabed to create one of the region's most impressive underwater landmarks. The rock descends to 40 meters on its deepest side, with walls covered in gorgonian fans, soft corals, and encrusting sponges. Large schools of barracuda and trevally circle the rock in mesmerizing formations, while grey reef sharks patrol the deeper sections. The rock's lighter color provides a dramatic contrast to the colorful marine life clinging to its surface, creating outstanding photographic opportunities. Napoleon wrasse and bumphead parrotfish are regular visitors, and manta rays have been spotted during the productive monsoon season. The depth and current exposure demand advanced skills, but White House Rock rewards experienced divers with one of the Andaman Islands' most visually striking and biologically rich dive sites.
