Lo Scialandro is a deep and challenging dive off Ischia reserved for advanced divers, where a dramatic volcanic pinnacle rises from depths exceeding 50 meters. The deep walls are adorned with precious Mediterranean red coral, large sea fans, and dense colonies of golden zoanthids rarely seen at shallower sites. Pelagic species including tuna, amberjack, and occasional eagle rays pass through the blue water around the pinnacle. Strong currents and significant depth demand excellent skills and planning, but the pristine deep-water environment rewards those who venture here.
