Ponta Cornacchia off Ischia offers a rugged volcanic wall dive with dramatic underwater topography. Lava flows have created a series of overhangs, ledges, and small caverns descending along the island's coast. The walls host dense growths of Mediterranean sponges in orange and purple, with sea fans swaying in gentle currents. Moray eels, grouper, and schools of two-banded bream are common residents. The site's varied depths and features make it an enjoyable dive for beginners, with plenty of marine life to discover at every turn.
