Punta San Pancrazio offers an advanced wall dive along Ischia's southern coast, where volcanic cliffs continue underwater into a spectacular deep drop-off. The wall is richly decorated with Mediterranean red coral, large barrel sponges, and dense gorgonian gardens that sway in the current. Lobsters emerge from deep crevices, and the occasional dusky grouper can be spotted lurking in the shadows. Currents sweeping along the point bring nutrients that fuel this rich ecosystem. A rewarding dive for experienced divers seeking Ischia's wilder, less-visited underwater landscapes.
