Isolotto Rosso is an advanced dive at a striking red granite islet in the Tavolara Marine Protected Area, where the unique rock coloring continues below the surface creating an extraordinary underwater environment. The islet's steep underwater walls are covered in gorgonians, bright sponges, and dense colonies of Mediterranean marine organisms. Grouper of impressive size patrol the drop-off, while schools of barracuda and amberjack cruise in the blue water. The combination of the distinctive red granite, the reserve's pristine ecosystems, and exceptional visibility makes Isolotto Rosso one of Sardinia's most visually spectacular dive sites.
