Secche del Fico

Secche del Fico is an advanced dive at one of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area's most celebrated seamounts. The submerged reef rises from deep water, creating walls and terraces covered in pristine Mediterranean marine growth. This site is legendary for its enormous resident grouper — some exceeding 40 kilograms — that approach divers with remarkable boldness thanks to decades of reserve protection. Gorgonian fans, red coral, and dense sponge fields cover the deeper sections. A defining Sardinian dive experience that demonstrates the extraordinary results of long-term marine conservation.
