Secca di Porto Leccio is a beginner-friendly seamount dive off northern Sardinia, where a shallow rocky reef rises near the surface creating a vibrant marine oasis. The flat-topped reef is covered with Posidonia meadows, colorful sponges, and small gorgonians that attract a rich variety of Mediterranean fish. Schools of bream, salema, and ornate wrasse cruise over the reef, while octopus and moray eels hide in the rocky crevices. Excellent Sardinian visibility and the reef's moderate depth make this a delightful dive for all certification levels, showcasing the Mediterranean's beauty in a protected setting.
