The Tunnel & The Fjord

The Tunnel & The Fjord is an advanced two-feature dive near Capo Galera off Alghero, combining a dramatic underwater tunnel through the cliff with a narrow fjord-like channel between towering rock walls. The tunnel passage at 18 meters leads divers through a short but thrilling enclosed swim-through before emerging into the open fjord, where sheer walls covered in gorgonians and sponges rise on both sides. Schools of bream and damselfish fill the channel while grouper lurk in the shadows. A unique geological formation that showcases the dramatic limestone coast of northwestern Sardinia.
