Koh Toch is an intermediate dive site off the coast of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, situated in the Gulf of Thailand's warm, sheltered waters. The site features a rocky reef with scattered coral formations growing over a mix of sand and rubble substrate. Cambodia's dive sites are still relatively undiscovered compared to neighboring Thailand and Vietnam, offering a sense of frontier exploration. The reef hosts a solid variety of tropical species: butterflyfish, angelfish, and wrasses patrol the coral heads, while seahorses and pipefish hide among the gorgonian fans. Barracuda and cobia are regular visitors from the open water. Visibility varies seasonally but can be excellent during the dry season from November to May. The presence of bamboo sharks resting on the sandy areas adds excitement for observant divers. Koh Toch represents Cambodia's growing reputation as a viable Southeast Asian diving destination with uncrowded conditions and surprisingly diverse marine life.
