Los Jardines (The Gardens) in Quintay is an advanced dive site named for its spectacular underwater garden of colorful marine organisms. The rocky reef is densely covered with sea anemones, soft corals, sponges, and encrusting organisms creating a vibrant living tapestry. The cold Humboldt Current waters fuel this exceptional biodiversity, with nudibranchs, decorator crabs, and tube worms adding intricate details to the scene. Strong currents challenge divers, but the visual splendor of this submarine garden is among the finest on Chile's central coast.
