Remolcador Caupolicán in Quintay is an intermediate wreck dive on a sunken tugboat near the old whaling station. The compact tugboat wreck sits upright on the rocky Pacific seafloor, its structure now heavily colonized by marine life including dense anemone coverage, kelp growth, and resident fish populations. Octopus and conger eels hide in the wreck's compartments, while schools of fish congregate around the superstructure. The manageable size and depth make this wreck an excellent introduction to Pacific wreck diving for certified divers visiting central Chile.
