North Point is a beginner-friendly dive at the Catalina Islands off Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Located at the northernmost tip of the island chain, this site offers a rocky reef with gentle slopes and moderate conditions accessible to less experienced divers. The volcanic boulders create sheltered areas where white-tip reef sharks rest and moray eels hide, while schools of grunts and snappers congregate around the reef structure. During the manta ray season, these graceful giants occasionally visit the northern sites as well. North Point provides a comfortable introduction to the famous Catalina Islands diving experience.
