Carina Wreck is a beginner-friendly wreck dive in the Strait of Gubal, Egypt's Red Sea. This cargo vessel sank in the 1970s and now rests at an accessible depth, making it suitable for newer divers. The wreck is well preserved and extensively colonized by fire corals, soft corals, and encrusting sponges. The cargo holds are open and safe to look into, revealing batfish, glassfish, and the occasional sleeping nurse shark. Carina is a classic Gubal wreck dive, offering both history and abundant marine life.
