Ulysses is an intermediate wreck dive in the Strait of Gubal, Egypt's Red Sea. This cargo vessel rests at moderate depth, its structure well-covered in corals and marine growth. The wreck provides habitat for a variety of Red Sea species, with large groupers claiming territory in the engine room and lionfish patrolling the upper decks. Soft corals in vivid colors drape the masts and railings. Ulysses offers an atmospheric wreck diving experience without the extreme depth of some Gubal wrecks, making it accessible to a wider range of certified divers.
