Sha'ab Ali is an advanced dive site in the Strait of Gubal, Egypt's Red Sea, known for being near the famous Thistlegorm wreck. The reef system features impressive walls and coral formations in deeper water, with strong currents attracting pelagic species. Schools of barracuda, trevally, and occasional hammerhead sharks patrol the blue water. The reef top hosts healthy hard coral gardens, while the walls are decorated with massive soft coral bushes. Advanced divers often combine this reef dive with a Thistlegorm wreck dive for a complete Gubal experience.
