Acuario

Acuario is an advanced dive site off the western coast of Tenerife near Playa San Juan, reaching 20 meters depth. Named for its aquarium-like clarity and abundant marine life, this site features a volcanic reef system with impressive rock formations and overhangs. The waters are frequently visited by green sea turtles, large groupers, and schools of barracuda, while the rock surfaces host dense populations of sponges, nudibranchs, and anemones. Despite its name suggesting easy conditions, the site is rated advanced due to boat access requirements and potential currents. The crystal-clear western coast waters provide exceptional visibility, often exceeding 30 meters.
