Barranco Seco Arch is a beginner-friendly dive site off Tenerife's western coast near Los Gigantes, featuring a stunning natural volcanic arch formation underwater. Divers swim through the wide arch, which frames beautiful blue-water views and creates dramatic lighting effects as sunlight filters through. The arch and surrounding volcanic formations are covered in sponges, algae, and small gorgonians, while the crevices shelter moray eels, nudibranchs, and decorator crabs. Trumpetfish, parrotfish, and schools of Atlantic damselfish populate the area, and green sea turtles are regularly sighted. The moderate depth and typically calm conditions make this photogenic site accessible to divers of all levels.
