Jerry's Jelly is an intermediate dive in the Somosomo Strait off Taveuni, Fiji, known for its jellyfish-like clusters of soft coral that give the site its whimsical name. Massive dendronephthya formations in translucent pinks, oranges, and whites billow from the reef overhangs, resembling underwater jellyfish frozen in place. The current-fed site supports dense populations of reef fish, with anthias, chromis, and damselfish creating a living kaleidoscope against the soft coral backdrop. Hawksbill turtles are frequently spotted, and reef sharks patrol the deeper sections. Jerry's Jelly epitomizes the Somosomo Strait's reputation as the soft coral capital of the world.
