Long Beach Point is an intermediate dive site off Taveuni, Fiji, where a coral-covered point extends into the current, creating a natural gathering spot for marine life. The reef crest features healthy table and staghorn corals, while the deeper slope is adorned with soft corals and sea fans. Schools of surgeonfish and fusiliers move along the point, with larger predators including grey reef sharks and barracuda hunting on the edges. The point's exposure to currents means conditions can range from gentle to challenging depending on tidal timing. The site offers a good balance of coral scenery and fish action, with the long sandy beach above providing a scenic backdrop for surface intervals.
