Qamea Shore is a beginner-friendly dive along the fringing reef of Qamea island near Taveuni, Fiji. The sheltered coastline offers calm, warm waters ideal for new divers and snorkellers exploring their first tropical reef. Healthy hard coral gardens slope gently from the shallows, hosting a colourful cast of reef fish including parrotfish, wrasses, and anemonefish in their host anemones. The sandy areas between coral patches reveal gobies, sea cucumbers, and the occasional blue-spotted stingray. With water temperatures of 26-29°C year-round and visibility typically exceeding 15 metres, Qamea Shore provides a gentle and beautiful introduction to Fiji's underwater paradise.
