Yellow Tunnel is an intermediate dive in the Somosomo Strait off Taveuni, Fiji, featuring a spectacular swim-through tunnel whose walls and ceiling are blanketed in yellow soft corals. The golden corridor creates one of Fiji's most iconic underwater photo opportunities — divers swimming through the tunnel are framed by glowing yellow dendronephthya with blue open water visible at the exit. Beyond the namesake tunnel, the surrounding reef is covered in the full spectrum of Fijian soft corals. Reef fish congregate at both ends of the tunnel, and lionfish often hover inside. The site requires moderate current management skills but rewards divers with an unforgettable sensory experience.
