Choqol Mini Wall is a beginner-friendly wall dive off Yap, Micronesia, where a small but colourful reef wall provides an accessible introduction to wall diving in this remote Pacific destination. The wall drops from a shallow reef flat to moderate depths, with excellent coral growth including soft corals, sea fans, and encrusting sponges. Schools of anthias and chromis hover along the wall face, while hawkfish and blennies perch on coral outcrops. The 'mini' scale keeps the dive within comfortable limits for less experienced divers while still offering the thrill of peering over a drop-off into blue water. An enjoyable warm-up dive before tackling Yap's more challenging current-swept sites.
