Milokopi is an intermediate dive site in the Corinthian Gulf within the Attica region. This coastal site features an interesting underwater landscape where rocky reefs meet the sandy bottom of the gulf. The terrain includes small walls, overhangs, and boulder fields that provide shelter for a healthy population of Mediterranean marine species. Groupers, moray eels, and scorpionfish are common sightings, while schools of bream and chromis patrol the open areas. The Corinthian Gulf's nutrient-rich waters support good sponge growth and diverse invertebrate communities. The relatively sheltered position means conditions are usually calm, making it a reliable intermediate-level dive for exploring the underwater world of central Greece.
