Sterna is a beginner-friendly dive site on the Corinthian Gulf coast of Greece. This sheltered spot offers a gentle introduction to Mediterranean diving with a shallow reef slope featuring scattered rocks and sandy patches. The calm, protected waters of the Corinthian Gulf ensure comfortable diving conditions on most days. Marine life is typical of the region: wrasse, damselfish, blennies, and sea bream populate the reef, while octopus and cuttlefish shelter among the boulders. Sponges and small anemones decorate the rocky surfaces. The easy access and reliable conditions make it a favourite for local dive centres running training courses and introductory experiences throughout the diving season.
