Corallbeach is a beginner-friendly shore dive on the south coast of Crete near Paleochora. This accessible site features a gentle entry over a sandy beach leading to a colorful reef scattered with rocky outcrops. The shallow waters teem with Mediterranean reef life including ornate wrasse, two-banded sea bream, and vibrant damselfish. Posidonia seagrass meadows border the reef, sheltering juvenile fish, seahorses, and cuttlefish. With minimal current and excellent visibility typical of the south coast, it's an ideal spot for training dives, underwater photography, and relaxed exploration. The nearby beach makes surface intervals particularly enjoyable.
